TV News and Commentary: Sad Face Edition 6/25/09
Man, first Ed McMahon and now Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson on the same day. I’ll forgo some of the usual witty bantar and stick with the facts today out of respect.
Not that there’s much news today anyways, although I am pretty excited about this story. AMC has greenlit a third original drama. Starting next year, Rubicon will join Mad Men and Breaking Bad on a channel that is so far 2-for-2 will fantastic television. The show will star James Badge Dale (Chase from season 3 of 24) and will be a political thriller focusing on a global conspiracy.
Greg Grunberg (Matt Parkman) isn’t worried about Heroes post-Fuller. From his Twitter: “BTW, the scripts for Season 4 & the stories we’re about to tell will ROCK YOUR WORLD. BEST. SEASON. EVER. Get ready!!” Yeah, we’ll see, Greg. We’ll see.
Finally, NBC and CBS have announced their fall premiere dates. I’ll post them here to finish out th post. Go hug your families. Especially if they’re celebrities.
